Prototype: The Desiro HC (High Capacity) is a single and double-deck variant of the Desiro from Siemens and was presented in 2014. The trains consist of four to six cars, with only the single-deck end cars being powered. Four-section units have 400-420 seats. When operated as RRX, the trains reach a top speed of 160 km/h and are 105m long in four sections.
